Hydrographic Notes
About Hydrographic Notes
Hydrographic Notes provide a means for reporting navigationally significant information to the National Hydrographic Agency (NHA). This information can encompass a wide range of updates that are crucial for safe navigation, including the identification of new or suspected navigational hazards, alterations to existing navigational aids, corrections or amendments to information published in nautical charts or other related publications, and reports of suspicious or potentially counterfeit charts and publications. By submitting Hydrographic Notes, mariners and other stakeholders help ensure that the NHA can maintain the accuracy and reliability of essential navigational data.
